Greeting Screamin Eagle People,
It is the beginning of February now and time for an update of
what’s going on in our part of the world. Only a month and a half
until our next meeting on March 15th in Centralia. We are into our
30th anniversary year now, so we need to be getting items ready for
our Case feature show in September, as it is only 7 months away. We
will be discussing the show and other events at our March meeting.
Remember to send in your dues and raffle ticket money.
Let’s look at what is going on east of the Mississippi River.
The Illinois Case collectors are planning a breakfast meeting and
tours on March 28th. Starting at 7AM with breakfast, then an 8AM
meeting at Salem,IL. Drive yourself tours start after meeting going to
Iuka and Olney, with many tractors, machinery, and memorabilia to see.

Case collectors are into their 10th anniversary year in 2026.
We have had some serious cold and snowy winter weather during the
last week of January. The further south you went the worse it was,
with snow totals as high as 15 inches,and some southern states had to
deal with ice storms. The St.Louis Gateway Farm Toy Show was held this
weekend Jan 30th and 31st and Feb 1st. Good attendance, however the
vendors seemed to say their sales were down. There auction was large
and the model contest was very good. On Saturday afternoon during the
awards session, the toy club surprised me, by inducting me into their
Hall of Fame. Quite a Humbling experience.

Remember our March 15th Annual Banquet meeting at the Holy Spirit
Catholic Church hall in Centralia. Doors will open at 3PM. Meeting
will start at 4PM and a catered meal will begin at 5PM. Attendance
prizes and Raffle prizes will be drawn for.
